Preparation of these is the key!
by missferguson on 6/14/2009
I love these, but I don't prepare them as the directions say and I think that is the key. They are really more like scrambled eggs the way that I cook them. First of all, I add more water than is called for. I cook them for about 30 seconds and stir and then continue cooking them while I stand at the microwave and watch to make sure they don't get cooked too much. If you overcook them, they are bad - rubbery tasting. But if you are careful, like I said, adding more water and stirring in between (and often not cooking quite as long as is called for), I think they are great! I do also add salt and pepper (just as I would with a regular scrambled eggs). This is another one of my favorites!
Yummy
by Maria on 6/28/2012
I wanted to try it because I just had gastric bypass, so I can eat anything I want but I didn't want to eat something that is fattening. I wasn't sure we're to turn so I was looking in the web and I'm so,lucky I found this site. I was skeptical about trying it but saw all the reviews and they were right; it tasted so good and the portion was plentiful to fill me. I didn't think it would but it did. It is so easy, just add water and microwave. Also, I liked that it was low in calories. I've tried every product entrees main courses snacks shakes cakes and dessert fruit drinks and breakfast. They are all delicious and would definitely recommend them to everyone out there. You would be so surprised how good they all are. I've tried to compare the nutrition labels at the market and don't even come close. Thanks Bariatric Choice for making my life easier and better. Also the delivery time is also very fast so when I run out I just order one week before I run out and I will have it next week. Other companies you have to order weeks in advance. Over all I definitely love this product and it's very handy. What else can I say but I love it all? If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you're missing. Oh, before I forget, you know how they say no sugar after Bariatric surgery? Well, that's not true with these products. You can find a lot of bars on the site that are very low in sugar so I can have my sugar kick without doing my stomach any harm. Thanks maria
Very tasty
by Pat on 1/7/2015
This product needs some imagination to maximize taste. As other reviewers have said , add a little extra water, pour into pan with a little olive oil, cook , loosening edges until soft. Pour sauteed veggies over the top. I use onions, bell peppers and mushrooms. Add a little salt and pepper. Really good .
Not Bad, if Cooked right
by Nancy on 8/25/2017
As others have said, DON'T overcook these or they are horrible. Also, I normally cook in a skillet with extra water, just a tiny bit of olive oil, and add salt / pepper; improves significantly.
bacon egg omlet mix
by Crickett on 2/8/2009
These have a rubbery texture and not much taste. I sure didn't taste a bacon flavor. There were eatable when I added some salt, pepper and some salsa. I won't buy again though.
not recommended

I do not recommend this product. I bought them because they were on sale; big mistake. They have a rubbery texture and very little taste.

It was better than I expected but would not consider it to be like eating eggs (Updated on 12/15/2011.)
Bland!
by Kasey Ross on 8/30/2012
Dont waste your money like I did! These were terrible. Bland! Bland! Bland! Even with salt and pepper they were just awful.

Rubbery
by Mellowfuzz on 9/28/2009
These were rubbery with no bacon flavor. I tried using more water and stirring more frequently while cooking. That helped, but they were still bland.
