Helped me with diverticulitis when switching to soft foods after surgery

I ordered this probiotic before surgery because I've always been a fan of the benefits of probiotics. I was so glad I did. About 3 weeks after surgery when I had started eating soft mushy foods (with little if any fiber), I had a diverticulitis attack. I went back on the liquid diet for 2 days and took this probiotic. I really didn't want to go to the emergency room, and I didn't have to. It worked and the colon infection and pain subsided over the next few days. I continue to take the probiotic just to help keep things moving and avoid problems.
